Front Cover - 2nd draft
After finding out that my target audience didn't like my first front coveer draft via blog poll, I decided to change it to hopefully improve it. I changed it by making the background a lighter shade of grey to brighten it up and then I faded the main image to make it more interesting. I also changed the masthead to make it look more professional. Then, I took away some of the headlines and puffs so it wouldn't look so crowded, and I rearranged them, so most would be at the bottom.
However, I set up another poll asking the opinions of my target audience. My audience voted 'It's OK', 'bad' and 'awful' regrading my second front cover draft. Which once again, raised concern. Something just wasn't working. So instead of finding out the opinions of my target audience via blog polls, I'm going to interview a member of my target audience to ask their honest opinion and try and figure out what's going wrong and how I can improve it so it appeals to my target audience as much as possible.
